Our main priority is to keep everyone safe during this time. We understand the inconvenience this can be amongst families. We ask that you be understanding and follow the guidelines listed below if your child(ren) has come in close contact with someone who has tested positive with COVID 19.
Exclusion from Childcare for 5 days. If child has siblings, they as well must be out and follow same procedures.
CDC Guidelines: Day 1 is the first full day after your last contact with a person who has had COVID-19. Stay home and away from other people for at least 5 days
Child(ren) must be tested on Day 5 by a Testing Site or Doctor’s Office HOME TEST WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED
CDC Guidelines: Even if you don’t develop symptoms, get tested at least 5 days after you last had close contact with someone with COVID-19.
Must bring proof from Dr. Office or Testing Site that child has negative test to return. No Exceptions. If you choose not to have child tested, they must follow Full Quarantine Period 14 days from last exposure.
If child test positive, child must Quarantine at home for full 10 days from date they tested positive.
All Drop off/Pick up will be done at the front entrance.
Please call the center if you need to speak with someone in reference to your child. Teachers will not be able to hold conversation at the door.
Children’s/Staff temp will be checked upon arrival, we ask you to wait until temp is checked before leaving. Temp must be below 100.5
If a child has a continuous cough, running nose, fever or exhibit signs of illness they are required to stay at home. Child can return after 48hrs/2days and must be symptom free. No Exceptions.
Fever Reducer/Pain Medication should not be given the morning of bringing a child to school.
If a child or an immediate family member travels outside the state or comes in contact with someone with COVID-19, or tests positive we ask that they quarantine. See Quarantine Policy.
Staff/School-Age children must wear masks while in the building.
CDC Guidelines:Wear a well-fitted mask for 10 full days any time you are around others inside your home or in public. Do not go to places where you are unable to wear a mask.
We do understand the CDC has shorten Quarantine time, however this time only applies to Fully Vaccinated individuals that can wear a well fitted mask with No symptoms.
